Not So Bionic Woman

NBC recently announced that it will be premiering a new Bionic Woman in the fall. Oh man, it looks terrible! It's so disappointing b/c a good remake could be such a cool kick-butt feminist vehicle. The only miniscule glimmer of a cool idea in this incredibly cheesy & overly long preview comes near the end where Katee Sackhoff (Kara "Starbuck" Thrace from Battlestar Galactica), a proto-Bionic Woman, says she's adding bionic features to herself, "cutting away all the parts of her that are weak."
