Today we had another ultrasound and some more bloodwork taken as part of the 1st Trimester Screening, which tests for Down Syndrome and other birth defects. The ultrasound was even clearer than the last time. The baby was moving around a lot - it seemed like it had the hiccups! We saw the heart beating again and also saw all 4 limbs. In this picture, the baby is lying on its back and the legs are folded up so you can't really see them, but you can see the right hand lifted up near the baby's face.

heehee. we were actually just talking last night about baek-il, the korean 100 days ceremony, where the child picks one thing from a bunch of stuff laid before them. if he/she picks a book, then they'll be a scholar, if they pick noodles, they'll have long life...stuff like that and ken said he wanted to put a computer mouse all the way up front.
Hi Baby Pak-Lee! Can't wait to meet you! Great idea on the computer mouse Sue. I think we're going to borrow that idea and inculde it in Kylan's dol-ja-bi at his 1st birthday party in a couple of weeks!
